What is significance of the sixth of June, 2006? It's not only that the date's numbers translate to Satan's 6-6-6 but the date is also indicative of the release of the much anticipated remake or new version of the 1976 horror masterpiece "The Omen". I remember when the family altogether watched the original 1976 version (using the very ancient player at the time); we really got scared with that great horror movie. Will this remake outdo its original when it comes to scaring the hell out of moviegoers?

Directed by John Moore and written by Dan McDermott, the Omen features Julia Stiles and Liev Schreiber. Stiles plays the role of the wife of a government official who adopted a seemingly innocent kid named Damien played by Seamus Fitzpatrick. They soon realize that the little tot is the physical incarnation of Satan.

According to an online article in Denverpost, its lead actress Julia Stiles is starting to notice strange things occurring in the shooting of the film. She stated in an interview that she had experienced terrifying nightmares every night when they were filming. I personally think that with such suspenseful and horrifying movie, the after effects for the actors, and maybe also the crew, are scary.
