As a civilian and a citizen, I am very interested on the United States' politics and policies. I also want to always be updated on the current affairs of the world and I even want a regular update on the
daily weather forecast. When I heard of the film "The Interpreter", I was very much interested on its content and storyboard.
I am very glad that there are still a few good entertainment films that pertain to political and worldly issues. The Interpreter stars
Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn. For the first time in my movie-watching life, I did not watch a film because Nicole Kidman was in it. I watched The Interpreter because it had really impacted on me, regarding the issue that it tackles.
The
Interpreter film is about this United Nations interpreter, played by Nicole Kidman, who stumbled upon a colloquy in the Ku language. The Ku language is the dialect of the Matobo tribe where Nicole Kidman's character originated from. This is really a mind-twisting movie. Plus, it was the first movie to be shot inside one of the most important edifices in the United States. So, this is a movie that you shouldn't dare miss.
