If you can't get enough of
Sharon Stone and the way she spreads her legs, well, maybe you can be lucky this time around.
Basic Instinct 2, an upcoming film featuring no less than Sharon Stone, aims to top the original hit by changing the setting to
London in Europe. The character of Catherine Trammell, played by Stone, is once again in trouble and the psychiatrist Michael Glass, played by David Morrissey, is tasked to evaluate the patient. She tries to capture the doctor's interest and pretty soon, both individuals find themselves entangled in a web of deceit and seduction.
From the description of the plot itself, you can already tell that the second installment is trying really hard to surpass the success of its predecessor. Directed by Michael Caton-Jones, this supposedly suspense and erotic film has somewhat dismayed some of its viewers. Unfortunately, these moviegoers find the plot boring, although they were stirred by the unexpected humor in the flick. Personally speaking, I think they made this movie all too late. They should have also included the original cast, including Michael Douglas, and given the helm back to Paul Verhoeven.
