I have always been fond if indie films. I think that these films represent the reality of everyday life. There are some that are funny and there are indie films which are really hard-core. Indie films are a good breather from commercialized and popular Hollywood movies. Indie films are those that do not appear on television entertainment. Mush less, indie actors do not even make it on gossip columns. So, what is it about Bijou Philips that everybody loves? This talented girl has pretty much done everything. She did modeling stints, she's an equestrienne, and she's an indie actress. At 13, she had been the cover of Italian vogue. She surely started early in the modeling biz.

I happen to notice Bijou's acting ability in her indie film "Bully". She was a stoner girl in this film. This is a film about the veracity of an American teenage life is like. Bully is a sex, drugs, and rock and roll type of film, something that would not really sell to the masses since it's too realistic and too straightforward to watch and enjoy. But, for many people, indie films are second to none. Anyway, Bijou is the epitome of an indie actress, although she doesn't see herself as an actress per se.

Bijou is good friends with Paris and Nicky Hilton. She lives a pretty hectic life, and she's notorious for being a party-girl like her friends. But, Bijou is more than just parties. She also sings. Bijou had done a song entitled "I'd Rather Eat Glass". This song refers to her feelings about not wanting to go back to modeling. Whatever this beautiful, young, and talented actress does, we're sure to love her more.
